Job summary

ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is expanding its ophthalmology and retina-focused sales team in the United States.

The Ophthalmology Account Executive will drive physician and patient identification, market development, and disease/brand awareness across assigned territories with a strong emphasis on Cortrophin Gel and ILUVIEN. The role requires 5+ years in rare disease or retina specialty sales, with proven success selling to ophthalmology professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree in business or science preferred.
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in rare disease, retina and/or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
• Extensive experience calling on Retina Specialists, Ophthalmologists and Eye Care Professionals is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive physician and patient identification, market development, and brand awareness within Ophthalmology and Retina.
• Build and execute territory strategy and account plans to drive sales and market development.
• Prioritize resources and time to optimize access to accounts with sales potential.
• Create account plans for key accounts and physicians to maximize sales results.
• Maintain relationships with physicians through pre-call planning and post-call analysis to refine approach.
• Collaborate with Ophthalmology brand team and cross-functional groups to ensure access and patient support.
