Alcon, a global leader in eye care, seeks a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the Chicago and North Suburbs territory. You will build trusted partnerships with ophthalmologists and optometrists, promote the dry eye portfolio, and drive adoption through clinical discussions and tailored account strategies.

This remote, field-based role requires residence in the territory, up to 100% travel, and a proven sales background in healthcare.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• 2 years of proven experience in field sales.
• Travel: 100% with valid driver's license.
• Territory: City of Chicago & North Suburbs; reside within territory.
• Experience with new product launches, market development, and growth initiatives.
• Healthcare field sales experience in ophthalmology/eye care preferred.

Aufgaben

• Drive territory growth and achieve sales objectives through strategic account planning and management.
• Develop trusted relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and healthcare providers.
• Educate customers on Alcon’s ocular health portfolio and support adoption through clinical discussions.
• Execute territory business plans focused on growing, optimizing, and protecting key accounts.
• Conduct regular in-person visits and deliver presentations, speaker programs, and events.
• Identify growth opportunities through market trends, customer needs and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Marketing, and Regional Sales Leadership.
• Use data and insights to craft account strategies that drive results and engagement.
• Manage a geographically dispersed territory with travel and customer-facing activity.
