Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Commercial Lines to lead Account Management staff in a remote-capable role within the Southeast. You will oversee daily operations, client service excellence, and the assigned book of business to drive renewals and growth.

The position emphasizes leadership, process optimization, and collaboration with HR and compliance, with a focus on service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years of sales, marketing or relationship management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance standards across productivity, quality and service.
• Lead and coach Account Management staff and ensure HR policy adherence.
• Support staff development and succession planning.
• Manage an assigned book of business and client renewals.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing, claims support and documentation of accuracy.
• Lead or support renewal and new business processes for seamless service.
