Job summary

Offchain, a leader in blockchain scalability, seeks a highly organized Business Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across the company. You’ll own security and technical initiatives, coordinating stakeholders and guiding high-impact projects to completion.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in operations or PM, exceptional communication, and strong analytical skills. Experience with GRC or SOC 2 is a plus; startup/crypto background is valued; bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, program management, strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
• Experience with GRC, SOC 2, compliance, risk management, or security operations is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias toward practical solutions and execution.
• Experience in a startup, high-growth technology, fintech, or crypto environment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience; Security+ and PMP certifications are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ad hoc operational priorities and projects as they arise.
• Partner with internal teams including People, IT, Finance, Security, and Operations to support employee and business needs.
• Expertly project manage across teams on operational high-visibility, high-impact technical projects.
• Drive documentation, evidence collection, process improvements, and cross-functional follow-up related to compliance and business operations.
• Establish project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, timelines, and success criteria.
• Drive accountability across stakeholders and ensure deliverables stay on track.
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and proactively work to resolve them.
• Ensure projects are completed with a high degree of quality, attention to detail, and urgency.
• Experience working with GRC platforms, SOC 2 audits, security controls, or compliance programs is a plus.
