Job summary

Tropiq is hiring a hands-on Operations Lead for a remote-first role, based in Denver or Phoenix. You’ll own messy problems end to end, from events to partnerships with flight schools, doing whatever is needed to move fast.

You’ll work directly with the founder to ship across product and operations, unblocking the team and building AI-powered systems that scale a small team. This is a high-ownership, varied role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in operations or a generalist startup role.
• Bias to action: start, learn, and adjust rather than wait for a perfect plan.
• Organized and systems-minded; turn chaos into repeatable process.
• Comfort with using AI tooling to automate busywork and free the team.
• Aviation background or willingness to fly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own events, vendors, logistics, tooling, recruiting support, partnerships with flight schools and clubs.
• Plan and run our presence at events like Oshkosh, from logistics to the people on the ground.
• Jump in wherever the team is blocked — product, engineering, customer support, you name it.
• Build the systems — increasingly AI-powered — that let a small team operate like a much larger one.
• Get in the airplane when it helps: test features, gather real-world feedback, see the product the way pilots do.
