Job summary

Hire Emerald is seeking an organized Operations CSR & Shipping Document Coordinator to support customer orders and international shipments from order entry through delivery. This remote, Latin America-based contractor role combines customer operations, export documentation, and freight coordination with training from a U.S.-based team and a path to full-time employment after 3–6 months.

You will manage orders, prepare Bills of Lading, COAs, CI, and packing lists while liaising with carriers for

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in international trade, logistics, shipping ops, or related field.
• Experience with international shipping and export documentation.
• Experience with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and/or NVOCCs.
• Understanding of BOLs, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and related export documents.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through final delivery.
• Create and maintain Sales Orders and Sales Contracts.
• Coordinate pickups with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.
• Manage carrier bookings, cut-offs, and vessel schedules with freight forwarders and ocean carriers/NVOCCs.
• Track vessel shipments and railcar movements.
• Monitor warehouse activity to prevent delays and container rolls.
• Maintain order summaries and provide shipment visibility to commercial teams.
• Proactively resolve shipment delays or operational issues.
