Job summary

OB Hospitalist Group seeks a Director of Operations to oversee hospitalist programs across a defined geographic area, reporting to the Vice President of Operations. The role emphasizes operational performance, client account management, and contract oversight.

You will lead program performance, coordinate with clinical leadership, and manage hospital partner relationships. Travel is moderate to extensive; remote or hybrid work is supported for Greenville, SC-area residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years leadership experience in healthcare/medical services.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong written and oral communication, including negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance and client account management for OBHG hospitalist programs within assigned geographic area.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals with hospital partners.
• Coordinate with Market Medical Director and VP of Operations; ensure program goals and performance objectives are met.
• Foster relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and external agencies.
• Support onboarding and expansion of OBHG programs; participate in executive business reviews.
