Job summary

OB Hospitalist Group is seeking an experienced Director of Customer Onboarding to lead the onboarding and implementation of about 10 customer programs. This hands-on role focuses on delivering exceptional experiences, accelerating time-to-implementation, and ensuring Go-Live targets are met.

The role partners with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk, improve processes, and build long-term client relationships. Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading complex onboarding, implementation, or client delivery initiatives.
• Proven success managing customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong strategic thinking and independent work style.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with process improvement, risk management, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onboarding and implementation activities for assigned programs.
• Serve as primary customer point of contact throughout onboarding lifecycle.
• Articulate and reinforce value proposition during implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce Time to Implement (TTI).
• Identify and manage onboarding risks and issues as needed.
• Lead contract discussions and maintain customer relationships.
• Drive onboarding process improvements and best-practice adherence.
• Provide weekly program status updates to senior leadership.
• Ensure smooth transition from onboarding to steady-state operations post Go-Live.
• Track and report KPIs related to onboarding efficiency and satisfaction.
• Act as trusted advisor for client concerns and long-term partnerships.
