Job summary

The State Group Automation is seeking an Operations Coordinator to work remotely within the United States. Founded in 2005, SGA delivers turnkey automation solutions with engineers across North America, enabling real-time communication and data-driven decisions across industries.

You will partner with Recruiting and Operations to deploy engineering talent across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, manage cross-border assignments, TN Visa processes, and onboarding.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing coordination, workforce planning, or operations within an engineering or technical environment.
• Experience supporting cross-border workforce activities between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico (TN Visa preferred).
• Previous roles as Controls Lead or Project Lead are highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Recruiting and Operations to deploy engineering talent across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
• Conduct final candidate interviews and rate technical fit, field readiness, and hiring decisions.
• Support workforce planning by maintaining engineering skills data and forecasting upcoming staffing needs.
• Coordinate cross-border assignments, including TN Visa processes, compliance requirements, and employee mobility logistics.
• Ensure engineers are fully prepared for assignments by coordinating onboarding, documentation, equipment, software, and system access.
• Serve as a key liaison between Recruiting, Operations, IT, and Field Leadership to support staffing priorities and successful project execution.
• Standardize candidate profiles and provide feedback to improve recruiting effectiveness and client presentations.
