Job summary

Reimagine Resources is a part-time Business Operations Specialist role focused on operational analysis, process improvement, and performance reporting. You will partner with the owner and operations team to diagnose inefficiencies and design, implement, and drive measurable improvements across the business.

You will build dashboards, monitor KPIs, and lead cost-reduction initiatives while coordinating remote work and contributing to resource planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience translating data analysis into implemented operational changes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on data work.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to interpret data and convert findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal oversight.
• Attention to detail and follow-through from analysis to execution.
• Flexible and resilient; able to give and take feedback; team player.

Responsibilities

• Analyze service and operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and design changes.
• Review service volume, completion times, workload patterns, and utilization for resource planning; implement staffing adjustments.
• Build and maintain operational KPIs, dashboards, and reports to drive action.
• Analyze parts usage, lead times, shortages, and purchasing patterns; implement improved inventory and vendor management.
• Evaluate supplier performance and lead renegotiation or vendor transitions when needed.
• Perform cost and variance analysis on service jobs and installations; drive cost reductions.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and support forecasting and planning.
• Develop process maps and standardized workflows; track adoption and results.
• Assess effectiveness of changes post-implementation and iterate improvements.
• Prepare analytical reports for the owner and leadership with an execution plan and owner.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field
