Job summary

Bentley Systems seeks a Resident Consultant to embed with the Louisiana Department of Transportation, delivering ORD coaching, training, and configuration support to meet DOT standards. You will collaborate on statewide training workflows and be READY for periodic travel to Baton Rouge while supporting ORD and related Bentley civil design tools.

The role emphasizes ORD and MicroStation proficiency, strong communication, and experience with transportation workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years’ knowledge and experience with ORD and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with drainage, survey, and bridge design is an asset.
• Experience with infrastructure projects and transportation workflows.
• Experience configuring Bentley software workspaces and ProjectWise.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, coaching, and training services for Bentley civil design and CADD applications, primarily ORD.
• Provide technical assistance for configuring, implementing, operating, and maintaining Bentley civil products.
• Configure Bentley applications to meet DOT standards and workflows.
• Collaborate with Louisiana DOT to define requirements and develop statewide training workflows and resources.
• This is a full-time, home-based position with periodic travel to Baton Rouge, LA (minimum four on-site visits yearly).
