Job summary

Outlier is seeking a freelance OpenClaw Agent Builder to shape the future of autonomous agents. This remote role pays up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments and global project opportunities. You can work from anywhere in the US time zones or globally as needed.

As part of the team, you will write evaluation rubrics, debug agent traces, and stress test agents while collaborating with engineers to improve real-world AI workflows. Prior backend/AI automation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (data parsing, logic processing, reporting).
• Practical experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
• Nice to have experience in coordinating multi-stage tasks and live-tool integrations.
