Job summary

SencorpWhite in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure successful software solutions and controls for our products. The role emphasizes remote and on-site troubleshooting, customer training, and system integration with PLCs or controls knowledge.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Travel 25% for on-site training and support.
Technical skills: PLC, HMI panels, networking, and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Aid customers under service contracts and remote assistance as the first contact to identify issues and dispatch if needed.
Lead remote support during OS or Network updates to ensure compatibility with SencorpWhite software.
Document work performed and troubleshooting steps for internal and external feedback.
Assist in post-deployment documentation for seamless transition from Project Management to Customer Support.
Knowledge of VLM commissioning and deployment of software solutions.
Resolve complex problems requiring high level technical expertise and business acumen.
Publish service bulletins to raise awareness of discoveries from support work.
Provide technical guidance to Field Service to resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain communication with design, reliability, and maintenance engineers regarding products.
Manage multiple projects across locations to ensure timely installations and support.
