Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VA VIPPS project in a fully remote role within the United States. You will translate business needs into future-state workflows and requirements for the OneStream platform, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable business rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of business analysis, requirements development, and/or business process analysis and modeling, including Federal Government programs.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, storyboarding, journey mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and current- and future-state process modeling.
• Demonstrated experience developing business process models using BPMN.
• Strong working knowledge of BPMN and Agile practices.
• Experience budgeting (commitments, obligations, tracking expenditures).

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis efforts to translate business needs into future-state workflows and implementation-ready requirements for the OneStream platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate business requirements and process models.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, storyboarding sessions, and requirements gathering activities to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Develop and maintain business process models using BPMN, ensuring alignment with goals and Federal requirements.
• Analyze current-state and future-state processes, identifying improvement opportunities and recommended solutions.
• Support VIPPS implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment with clear requirements and process documentation.
• Ensure requirements/designs adhere to Agile and SaaS/configurable enterprise platforms.
• Document and communicate findings to project teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies within the project.
• Ensure activities comply with Suitability/Public Trust clearance requirements.
