Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VA VIPPS program in a fully remote US-based role. You will translate business needs into future-state workflows and implement requirements for the OneStream platform, coordinating with stakeholders and technical teams.

The role requires 7+ years of Federal-focused analysis, BPMN expertise, and budgeting experience. Core hours are 8 AM–5 PM ET. Suitability/Public Trust clearance is required; role contingent on award.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements development, and/or process modeling, including experience supporting Federal Government programs.
Experience in requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, storyboarding, journey mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and current- and future-state process modeling.
Demonstrated experience developing business process models using BPMN is expected.
Strong working knowledge of BPMN and Agile practices.
Understand how to design processes that leverage platform capabilities rather than assume a custom-development approach.

Responsibilities

Lead business analysis efforts to translate business needs and existing processes into future-state workflows and implementation-ready requirements for the OneStream platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate business requirements and process models.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, storyboarding sessions, and requirements gathering activities to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
Develop and maintain business process models using BPMN, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Federal requirements.
Analyze current-state and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions that leverage platform capabilities.
Support the implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of the VIPPS solution by providing clear, actionable requirements and process documentation.
Ensure requirements and process designs adhere to Agile practices and are compatible with SaaS or configurable enterprise platforms.
Document and communicate business analysis findings, process models, and requirements to project teams and stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis and process modeling methodologies within the project.
Ensure all activities comply with Suitability/Public Trust clearance requirements.
