Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VA OIT VIPPS project. You will translate business needs into future-state workflows and implementation-ready requirements for the OneStream platform, working remotely across the United States.

The role focuses on leading analysis, eliciting requirements, and creating BPMN models, ensuring Agile alignment and SaaS readiness, with clearance suitable for federal work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; business, information systems, CS or finance.
• 7+ years of business analysis, requirements development, or modeling.
• Experience in a Federal environment and with government programs.
• Elicitation workshops, storyboarding, journey mapping and acceptance criteria.
• Strong BPMN modeling skills and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis to translate business needs into future-state workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, storyboard sessions, and requirements gathering.
• Develop and maintain BPMN models aligned with federal goals.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to identify improvements.
• Support VIPPS implementation, integration, testing, and sustainment.
• Ensure designs align with Agile and SaaS platforms.
• Document findings and communicate with project teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis methodologies.
