Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks an OnCore Training Specialist to support the adoption and optimization of the CTMS across the research enterprise. You will develop and deliver training programs, guides, and resources for research staff and operational stakeholders throughout the clinical research lifecycle.

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years of experience in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develops, delivers, and maintains training programs and materials for OnCore CTMS.
• Creates user guides, SOPs, job aids, and training resources for OnCore workflows.
• Coordinates onboarding and role-based training for clinical research personnel.
• Interacts with leadership to assess training needs and designs educational programs.
• Acts as SME for OnCore and related integrations (EPIC, AURA, Oracle, Vestigo).
• Collaborates with system administrators and stakeholders to implement new functionality and optimize workflows.
• Participates in testing, validation, and deployment activities for system upgrades.
• Maintains training environments and develops scenarios for hands-on activities.
• Tracks training participation and outcomes; generates reports for decision making.
• Communicates system updates and educational opportunities to teams.
• Support audits and process improvements related to clinical research systems.
• Supports e-learning curriculum design and trend analysis in teaching/learning.
• Works with campus units to aggregate services in an academic context.
