Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking an OnCore Training Specialist to support the OnCore CTMS across the research enterprise. This role develops, delivers, and maintains training programs for research staff, faculty, and operational stakeholders to optimize system usage and data quality.

As part of the RSCA Unit, you will partner with research teams, create guides, SOPs, and training materials, and act as a subject matter expert on OnCore and related integrations.

Qualifications

• Education: college or university degree in related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years in a related role or discipline.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs and materials for OnCore CTMS.
• Create user guides, SOPs, job aids, and training resources.
• Coordinate onboarding and role-based training for clinical research staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to design education programs aligned with process changes.
• Serve as SME for OnCore and related integrations (EPIC, AURA, Oracle, Vestigo).
• Support implementation of new functionality and system optimization.
• Participate in testing and validation of upgrades and new features.
• Maintain training environments and develop hands-on training scenarios.
• Track participation and outcomes; generate reports for decision making.
• Communicate updates and educational opportunities to teams.
