Job summary

The University of Chicago's Biological Sciences Division seeks an OnCore Training Specialist to develop and deliver training programs for the OnCore CTMS across the research enterprise.

You will partner with RSCA and other stakeholders to ensure adoption, data quality, and compliant workflows, while producing reports and educational materials for staff and faculty involved in the clinical research lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires a college or university degree in a related field.
• Experience with OnCore CTMS and related research technologies.
• Knowledge of federal regulations governing human subject research.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to develop reports, analyze metrics, and evaluate training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develops, delivers, and maintains training programs and educational materials for OnCore CTMS.
• Creates user guides, SOPs, job aids, reference materials, and trainings.
• Coordinates onboarding and role-based training for clinical research personnel.
• Designs educational programs for system enhancements and process changes.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for OnCore and related integrations (EPIC, AURA, Oracle, Vestigo).
• Supports testing, validation, and deployment of system upgrades and new functionality.
• Maintains training environments and develops training scenarios.
