Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an experienced RN for triage work in our oncology care team at the Pasadena Office. The role focuses on phone triage, symptom management, and coordination of care for patients with cancer and their families.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license (Florida or multistate), with 2+ years RN experience and oncology exposure. BLS and OCN are preferred. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Florida or multistate license.
• Minimum two years of RN experience; oncology experience preferred.
• Oncology RN role requires triage of oncology patients by phone.
• OCN and BLS are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Triage oncology calls and advise on treatment, surgery, and appointments.
• Monitor and manage patient symptoms to reduce ED visits.
• Support high-risk, complex patient care and coordinate with care team.
• Educate patients and caregivers and provide referrals as needed.
• Assist physicians and APPs with patient interactions and documentation.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to nursing regulations.
• Facilitate communication across multidisciplinary cancer care team.
