Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Florida (multistate or single state)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Triage oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery and appointment information under general supervision
• Monitor and manage patient symptoms and care plans
• Manage high-risk, complex patient care to minimize ED visits and inpatient readmissions
• Assess barriers to care and provide patient-centered education and referrals
• Assist physicians and APPs with patient/family interactions to resolve clinical issues
• Complete required clinical documentation and maintain professional boundaries with the care team
