Job summary

Ladders seeks an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison, Oncology – Central to join our client’s team as a field-based marketing leader in hematology/oncology.

You will build and sustain strategic relationships with key thought leaders across the central territory, translating market and clinical insights into actionable input for brand strategy while partnering with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and senior executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Thought Leader Liaison, field sales, or brand marketing.
• Strong preference for hematology/oncology markets, particularly lung cancer.
• Launch experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage in strategic discussions to gather insights and share clinical information with key thought leaders.
• Conduct business discussions on product information and disease states.
• Adopt a customer-centric approach to enhance thought leader engagements.
• Coordinate engagements for senior executives at conferences and during business interactions.
• Develop and maintain a list of key thought leaders in the assigned territory.
• Build relationships with established and emerging thought leaders.
• Support speaker bureau efforts, including speaker identification and training logistics.
• Share insights from thought leader interactions with Marketing and other teams to inform strategy.
• Translate national strategies into regional execution and coordinate with internal teams.
• Assist in planning regional and national advisory boards and liaise with thought leaders.
