Amgen is seeking a Senior Oncology Specialist to serve as the primary clinical liaison to medical professionals, delivering knowledge of Amgen’s oncology products and communicating their clinical and economic benefits. The role involves building a comprehensive territory plan, managing accounts, and driving sales while contributing to patient care and outcomes.
A strong background in oncology with sales or clinical experience is required, with flexible work models including remote/hybrid
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
- Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
- High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan with branded sales messages and programs.
- Service and manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Develop territory plans with District Manager and analyze sales activity and ROI.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the Sr. Oncology Specialist role.
- Deliver clinical and economic benefits of Amgen’s products to medical professionals.
