Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to drive growth in the Washington DC territory. You will engage with customers, educate stakeholders about our oncology portfolio, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of sales experience or an equivalent healthcare background, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience.
• Equivalent experience can be professional sales experience, healthcare/scientific background with oncology emphasis.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required, including overnight travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed sales goals for the Washington DC geography.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand practice structure and needs, building business relationships.
• Communicate a patient-centered rationale for oncology products to customers.
• Understand tumor types, treatment options, and clinical pathways to inform discussions.
