Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to drive growth in a field-based role across the Jacksonville, FL territory and nearby regions. You will educate stakeholders, address identified needs, and work to meet or exceed sales goals while navigating complex tumor types and treatment pathways.

The role requires 2+ years of oncology field sales experience or related clinical/marketing experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare/scientific field experience in oncology preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (10-15% overnight).

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales goals for the geography.
• Understand customer practice structures and build business relationships to uncover needs.
• Communicate the patient-centered value of our oncology products to key stakeholders.
• Develop plans with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and district manager.
• Analyze buying environment and product purchasing patterns across channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
