Job summary

Adjuvant Behavior Health Inc. seeks a licensed mental health professional for remote oncology-focused behavioral health care. This 1099 contractor role starts with about 25 hours/week and pays $66/hour, with potential to move to a W2 role after 90 days.

The focus is consultative therapy, engaging patients and families who are dealing with cancer. The position offers telehealth with real team support, stable caseload, and no marketing burden so clinicians can focus on clinical care and patient

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting.
• Active Virginia LPC or LCSW license is required.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually and/or in family sessions to help with dependencies, life adjustment, or changes.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with SMART goals within 72 hours after intake, updated every 4 weeks.
• Fill out and maintain client records and progress notes within 48 hours after each session.
• Collaborate with staff to perform assessments and develop plans within 2 days of establishing care.
• Refer patients to community resources or specialists as needed.
