Adjuvant Behavior Health Inc. is seeking empathetic, licensed mental health professionals for remote contract positions focused on oncology behavioral health. Clinicians will work with cancer patients and families, providing individual and family therapy through telehealth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting.
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker license in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually and/or in family sessions to help with dependencies, life adjustments, or change.
• Refer to IOP if little to no improvement occurs within 8 weeks.
• Guide clients in developing skills or strategies to address problems.
• Develop and implement SMART treatment plans within 72 hours of intake and update every 4 weeks.
• Fill out and maintain client records and progress notes within 48 hours after each session.
• Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
• Evaluate clients’ condition based on information reviewed.
• Collaborate with staff to develop plans within 2 days of care initiation.
• Refer patients to community resources or specialists as needed.
• Keep up with new counseling developments through literature, courses, and professional networks.
