Job summary

Adjuvant Behavior Health Inc. is seeking empathetic mental health professionals to join our oncology behavioral health team.

This is a fully remote position with pay of $66/hr as a 1099 contractor, with the option to transition to a W2 role after 90 days and averaging 25 hours per week. You will counsel clients individually and in family sessions, develop and implement treatment plans, maintain records, and collaborate with staff to support cancer patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling setting.
• Active LPC or LCSW license in Virginia is required.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually and/or in family sessions to support change.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with SMART goals.
• Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork and progress notes.
• Collaborate with staff to complete assessments and care within 2 days of care start.
• Refer patients to community resources or specialists as needed.
