Job summary

Dakota, a remote-first stablecoin infrastructure platform, is seeking an Onboarding Analyst to join the compliance team. You will manage onboarding for institutional and consumer clients, perform KYC/KYB checks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing entity documentation, conducting CDD, and performing enhanced due diligence while collaborating with the Compliance Manager to optimize workflows. A focus on accuracy and client experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in KYC/KYB, AML, compliance, or onboarding at fintech or financial services.
• Working knowledge of global AML/CTF requirements, FATF standards, and CIP best practices.
• Familiarity with onboarding/AML platforms and identity verification tools.
• Ability to handle high-volume work with tight deadlines and sensitive client data.
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding lifecycle from intake to timely resolution of KYC/KYB requests.
• Onboard institutional clients by reviewing entity docs and ownership structures.
• Onboard consumer clients by verifying identity and completing CDD.
• Conduct screening and enhanced due diligence (EDD) as needed.
• Assess client risk and upscale high-risk cases to the Compliance Manager.
• Support ongoing monitoring, periodic reviews, and regulatory filings.
