Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking a highly organized Traffic Controller / Communications Assistant to support Open Enrollment onboarding. You will manage Technical Check sessions, welcome new hires, and maintain session status across multiple remote sessions.

The role requires strong communication, excellent organizational skills, and a basic understanding of computers and workstation setup. Work hours are Mon-Fri 7:00AM–4:00PM MT, with possible overtime during peak hiring season.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience required or preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with multitasking capacity.
• Able to learn and follow established onboarding processes.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage participant movement between virtual breakout rooms during Technical Check sessions.
• Monitor waiting rooms, attendance, and participant engagement.
• Welcome new hires and provide onboarding session instructions.
• Communicate expectations and updates to participants.
• Coordinate with IT Support for troubleshooting and escalation.
