Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to create a seamless hiring experience for new team members across the organization. You’ll coordinate the full onboarding process, from offer documents to orientation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role involves collaborating with Talent Acquisition, HR, and Operations, maintaining accurate records in the ATS, and driving process improvements to support staffing needs and a positive new-hire experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1 year of HR experience with focus on recruiting, onboarding, interviewing, hiring, or HR administration.
• Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, hiring regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
• HR Systems: Experience using ATS and HR onboarding platforms such as SmartRecruiters, Workday, UltiPro, or similar systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to manage reports and onboarding progress.
• Organization & Communication: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and provide an exceptional onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process by sending offer documentation and welcome communications while ensuring paperwork and orientation are completed timely.
• Conduct and track background checks, reference verifications, and MVR screenings in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain hiring records: weekly orientation rosters and licensing files in the ATS.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, and Operations to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and contribute to special projects.
