ICF is seeking a Pro-Housing Planning Specialist (On-Call) to support HUD and partners in reducing regulatory barriers to home construction. The role centers on land use, zoning, development review, and permitting practices to expand housing supply in communities across the United States.

You will translate policy into actionable training content, facilitate discussions with local stakeholders, and collaborate with HUD and ICF teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in urban or regional planning, public administration, public policy, government, real estate development, housing, or related field, OR 10+ years of experience.
• Experience translating policy/regulatory concepts into practical guidance.

Aufgaben

• Provide subject matter expertise on local pro-housing regulatory reforms.
• Serve as expert at listening sessions and trainings across the U.S.
• Facilitate dialogue to identify feasible regulatory reforms.
• Apply HUD practices and 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act in guidance.
• Review HUD writings on land use, zoning, and permitting for local audiences.
• Coordinate with HUD and ICF teams to ensure accurate, practical content.
