Pearson is seeking individuals to score Oklahoma exams remotely for our Sacramento, California office. This role fits educators who are active or recently retired and meet credential or degree requirements, with sessions Monday–Friday and occasional training. Work is remote, with scheduling that fits availability.

Scorers evaluate candidate responses, follow rubrics, and participate in consensus scoring. Residency in Oklahoma or California is required for eligibility; strong computer skills are

Qualifications

• Must hold a teaching credential for the content area.
• Active teaching or recent teaching within last three years at the appropriate grade level.
• Or experience as a faculty member teaching content-area courses.
• Or hold a bachelor’s/master’s degree and be a graduate student currently teaching the content field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses of teacher candidates.
• Internalize training and scoring guide.
• Participate in discussions and apply rubric requirements.
• Meet quality and productivity standards for scoring.
• Engage with scorers in consensus scoring activities.
