Job summary

Ensource is hiring a remote Medical Coder to review hospital records, assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses and CPT codes, and support orthopedic and other surgical specialties. The role requires 3+ years of facility coding experience and current credentials (CCS/RHIA/RHIT or CPC) within the United States.

Qualifications

• Current coding credentials (CCS, RHIA, RHIT or CPC) from AHIMA or AAPC.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant facility coding experience.
• Must reside in the United States and have reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Review hospital medical records and assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses and CPT codes as appropriate.
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards for coding services.
• Collaborate with outpatient coders and managers to address client needs.
• Maintain active coding certifications and complete continuing education.
