Formación

• 2+ years of professional coding experience.
• CPC certification required.
• Remote position offered for OB/GYN coding support.

Responsabilidades

• Review and assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for OB/GYN services.
• Analyze clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify documentation deficiencies and determine when provider clarification or queries are needed.
• Apply coding modifiers, evaluate NCCI edits, and navigate payer-specific billing requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and revenue cycle teams for coding education and best practices.
• Monitor coding quality trends and participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Utilize EHR systems, preferably Epic, to review encounters and supporting documentation.
• Maintain high productivity with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
