Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (Supplier Relationship Manager) to drive growth for our Nutraceutical portfolio. You will manage supplier relationships, shape portfolio strategy, and support pricing and profitability while equipping the sales team with insights and tools to win in a competitive market.

You will partner across Marketing, Technical Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain to launch new products, optimize the portfolio,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in product/marketing/supplier management or related commercial role; nutraceuticals or ingredients experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of nutraceutical/dietary supplement industry incl. ingredients, applications, trends.
• Knowledge of the ingredient distribution business model incl. supplier relationships, rebates, pricing, channel management.
• Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies and translate market opportunities into actionable plans.
• Strong analytical and financial skills; use data to evaluate pricing, margins, profitability, and working capital; Excel skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong supplier and cross-functional relationships.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the Nutraceutical portfolio across ingredients and health products; identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute product and supplier growth strategies by application and use case.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships; collaborate on plans, forecasting, pricing and growth.
• Own pricing strategy and commercial performance including margins and profitability.
• Partner with Marketing to develop market positioning, campaigns, launches, and seller tools.
• Provide Field Sales with market intelligence and supplier training to boost engagement.
• Lead new product and supplier launches with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze market, customer, supplier, and financial data to identify growth opportunities.
• Evaluate new products and opportunities with Strategic Business Development and suppliers.
