Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Nursing Editor & Accreditation Specialist to lead the creation of evidence-based educational content for allied health professionals while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

You will oversee editorial direction, collaborate with SMEs, and manage accreditation processes to support continuing education programs aligned with regulatory requirements. The role blends clinical writing, editing expertise, and strategic content stewardship.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience in both clinical writing & editing, and multiple accreditation processes
• Strong in Evidence-based practice and research interpretation
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Excellent understanding and implementation of accreditation standards

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply requirements from accrediting bodies relevant to allied health (ANCC, CA Board of RN)
• Prepare and manage accreditation applications and renewals and ensure compliance with accreditation standards
• Assess professional learning needs, licensing requirements, and clinical trends to guide content strategy
• Write and edit clinical reference materials and CE modules using current research and best practices
• Ensure adherence to professional, legal, ethical, and editorial standards
• Lead content review cycles, update courses for accuracy and relevance and analyze learner data and evaluations to improve content
• Recruit and collaborate with subject matter experts, writers, and reviewers
• Provide editorial guidance for consistency and quality
