Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our telemedicine program, delivering remote patient care with initial in-person training in Temple, TX. The role supports headaches patients and involves autonomous outpatient management via telemedicine.

The position offers a structured onboarding, mentorship from APPs and physicians, and a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM weekday schedule with no weekend work. Experience in headache medicine is preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license.
• 5 years of APP experience preferred; headache medicine preferred; candidates from Neurology, Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients by performing comprehensive histories and exams.
• Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates tests to assess health care needs.
• Prescribes medications and implements treatment plans.
• Counsels patients and families about medications, processes, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintains patient records detailing treatment plans and outcomes and provides consultations.
