Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our telemedicine program. This role is primarily remote with two weeks of initial training in Temple, TX, and occasional in-person educational meetings throughout the year.

Travel reimbursement is provided for training. You will join a supportive telemedicine team with LVN and Community Health Worker support, manage headache patients, and enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with about 15 patients per day.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program.
• Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients by performing comprehensive physical examinations and obtaining medical histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes or recommends medical drug therapies or other treatments and develops treatment plans.
