Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited PA program; licensure to practice in Texas.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in healthcare is noted.
• Credentials: Current NCCPA certification and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients via comprehensive or problem-focused exams and histories.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics to guide care decisions.
• Prescribe or recommend therapies and manage treatment plans.
• Counsel patients on medications, regimens, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Provide telemedicine consults within the supervising physician's scope.
