Qualifikationen

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited NP program.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Current Texas NP license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• National NP certification in area of specialty preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assesses physical and mental condition via examinations and histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets tests to assess care needs.
• Prescribes medications and therapies per policy.
• Develops and implements treatment plans with the team.
• Counsels patients and families on processes, medications, and nutrition.
• Maintains patient records and offers consultation.
• Performs invasive procedures within scope of practice.
• May cover additional duties to meet department needs.
