Responsibilities

• Assesses patients' physical and mental condition through comprehensive or problem-focused exams and histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes or recommends medical therapies and treatments.
• Formulates and implements treatment plans collaborating with physicians and team.
• Counsels patients and families on medical processes, medications, and health promotion.
• Maintains treatment records and initiates referrals when needed.
