Job summary

The Lupus Foundation of America is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as the Clinical Trial Navigator in support of lupus trials at affiliated academic medical centers. This contract role is remote with potential hybrid options and reports to the VP of Research.

You will guide registry participants through education, screening, enrollment, and ongoing support, coordinate with researchers, and ensure HIPAA compliance while promoting health equity for underrepresented communities.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in practicing state(s)
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between RAY Registry and lupus clinical trials; guide participants through education, screening and enrollment
• Coordinate with academic medical centers and research teams to ensure smooth referrals
• Maintain ongoing participant support and adherence throughout trial duration
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of PHI and secure documentation
• Assist in IRB submissions and grant reporting as needed
