The Lupus Foundation of America is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as the Lupus Clinical Trial Navigator, bridging clinical care, patient advocacy, and research operations in a contractor role.

The role involves guiding registry participants through education, screening, enrollment, and ongoing support for lupus clinical trials, with a focus on diverse, underrepresented communities and strict HIPAA compliance. Remote/hybrid work options offered.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience; rheumatology, immunology, oncology, or research preferred.
• Experience working with underrepresented communities and navigating healthcare access complexities.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, including informed consent, eligibility screening, and GCP/principles; HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between RAY Lupus Patient Registry and lupus clinical trials at academic medical centers.
• Guide participants through education, screening, enrollment and ongoing support during trials.
• Maintain PHI security and HIPAA compliance; manage data and documentation for trials.
• Coordinate with academic partners and researchers to facilitate referrals and enrollment workflows.
• Contribute to grant reports and program evaluations with data and narratives.
