Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research seeks a Nurse Navigator to join the Phase 1 clinical trial program. You will serve as the primary liaison between patients, referring physicians, and START staff, ensuring timely and personalized care while addressing barriers to trial participation.

Responsibilities include educating staff about trials, coordinating referrals and appointments, and supporting patients with scheduling, care coordination, and access to resources.

Qualifications

• Oncology experience (minimum 1 year)
• Active RN license in practicing state
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
• Clinical trials experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Educate physicians and staff about START Phase 1 trials.
• Perform referral intake for new patients.
• Schedule Phase 1 appointments and address barriers to care.
• Coordinate case conferences and tumor boards.
• Maintain patient tracking documentation and trial monitoring.
