Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Test Engineering Consultant 2 to support planning, execution, and delivery of distributed control system upgrades for nuclear clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree from an accredited program.
• 10+ years' experience in test engineering, commissioning, or I&C in nuclear or similarly regulated industries.
• Experience leading test strategies, FAT/SAT and acceptance testing.
• Strong traceability, configuration management, and test documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel ~20–25% and interface with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead test engineering for DCS and digital I&C upgrade projects.
• Develop test strategies, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with project teams to align technical scope and priorities.
• Ensure testing follows procedures, quality, cybersecurity, and nuclear standards.
• Mentor test engineers and provide technical guidance.
