Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior test engineering leader to serve as technical lead for DCS and digital I&C upgrade projects in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

You will coordinate factory and site acceptance testing, integration, and commissioning with project teams, suppliers, and clients, and drive resolution of test disparities while guiding project personnel. Travel up to ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 10+ years in test engineering or I&C in nuclear or regulated industries.
• Expertise with DCS, digital I&C systems, and formal test procedures per nuclear quality standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; travel ~25%.

Job description

• Serve as the technical lead for DCS and digital I&C upgrade projects, ensuring all testing activities meet technical and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, integrated testing, and commissioning activities with project teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Drive identification, documentation, and resolution of test disparities while providing technical guidance to project personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with 10+ years of experience in test engineering, commissioning, or I&C within nuclear or highly regulated industries.
• Demonstrated expertise with DCS platforms, digital I&C systems, formal test procedures, and nuclear quality standards such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and IEEE 603.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with willingness to travel approximately 25%.
