Job summary

ABB is seeking a Nuclear Qualification Coordinator to support operations, sales, marketing, and product management in determining product availability for nuclear safety applications. Remote role with Southeast preference, reporting to Sales Support Manager - Customer Support.

You will ensure compliance through Nuclear Sales Policy oversight and work with vendors to qualify products for safety-related retrofits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, or Master’s with 2 years; or equivalent combination.
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• Navy nuclear or commercial nuclear industry background preferred.
• Experience with ISO QMS, ISO Safety and/or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, with Title 10 Part 21 a plus.
• Experience with vendor management or auditing of processes a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ABB systems, SPINE, SAP, SOM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ABB Nuclear Sales Policy and review decisions for Nuclear facilities.
• Collaborate with ABB international Nuclear Segment Managers to review facility design & site assessments.
• Provide ABB Nuclear Sales Policy training to internal and external personnel.
• Support sales, marketing and product management to qualify retrofit solutions using approved 3rd party labs.
• Originate CG Dedication Plans to support installed base retrofit solutions for safety related applications.
• Maintain proficiency as internal auditor (ISO QMS, NQA-1 Lead Auditor) for audits.
• Attend nuclear industry conferences and collaborate with regional BDMs to support quotations for nuclear plants.
