Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to oversee I&C manufacturing and development projects. You will partner with NuScale design teams, specify requirements, and act as the primary technical liaison with suppliers worldwide.

The role emphasizes adherence to QA/QC, coding standards (10 CFR references), and cost management support, with travel up to 25% and a hybrid on-site/remote work arrangement within the contiguous United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time engineering experience in development and oversight of manufacturing of I&C systems and electrical components.
• Manufacturing development for complex designs, components, or systems in a regulated environment is required.
• Strong technical writing skills and use of PLM and MS Office software are required.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with NuScale design organizations to interpret needs to manufacturing entities.
• Coordinate and monitor the technical aspects of manufacturing and development projects.
• Review supplier manufacturing documentation for compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and QA/QC requirements.
• Develop, check, or review internal drawings, studies, and specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure QA/QC and standards compliance.
• Assist cost management with cost estimates and value engineering studies.
