Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Nuclear Safety Engineer Supervisor to support projects remotely out of Oakridge, TN, Aiken, SC or Richland, WA office. The Nuclear Safety Engineer Supervisor will manage the Nuclear Safety Engineering team to meet customer and project requirements regarding scope, scheduling and budgets.

The role serves as a liaison between discipline engineers and Project Engineering Managers, Chief Discipline Engineers and Principal Engineers to ensure

• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• US Citizenship required; dual citizenship not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the discipline's engineering with other disciplines.
• Maintain records, files and other documents pertaining to the discipline.
• Ensure engineering documents comply with state laws/regulations and seal when required.
• Lead manpower and labor cost estimation for a project and monitor budgets.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to team members.
• Lead staff training programs and develop training materials.
